Since I don't have enough days off over Christmas to actually go on a holiday I've decided to charm the walls of my apartment to look like a beach and added some heating charms to make it more realistic. Not as good as a real holiday but I can pretend it is as long as none of you bother me and remind me that the real world still exists. Unless you're able to make good cocktails, in which case you're officially invited on this holiday with me.

Does anyone know when the 12 days of Christmas start? Is it the 12 days leading up to the 25th or 12 days starting from the 25th or does the 25th fall somehow in the middle? Or were the 12 days just invented for the sake of the song? Also, what's with the gifts in the song? If my "true love" gave me an aviary and half a band they would not be my true love anymore. The only decent present is the 5 golden rings but why do you need 5 the same? I'd rather a ring, a necklace, a bracelet, some earrings and a pendant. They really should fix the song lyrics.
